Established in 2007, Clear Investor Limited is a Financial Marketing Agency that specialises in promoting financial futures companies - particularly spread betting companies. Clear Investor owns a group of content driven websites that promote a range of financial futures websites.
Clear Investor is now transitioning from start-up to maturing high growth company. The group’s websites are successfully exploiting the rapidly growing market of retail investors who wish to access these investment products.
The company has reached a critical point in its evolution where a combination of partner relationships and the size of the client base have enabled it to invest in growth.
The core aspect of this role, which reports to the founder, is editing and adding content to a range of financial websites and blogs.
The ideal candidate will be a professional, articulate university graduate. They will:
- Have an understanding of the financial markets
- Have passion in the internet and marketing
- Be prepared to work flexible hours
- Have a high level of IT literacy
- Be a systematic, organised and accurate record keeper
Job Specification
1) Role Summary:
The core aspect of this role, which reports to the founder, is editing and adding content to a range of financial websites and blogs.
2) Specific Role Details
Primary Role Activities:
- Management of the Clear Investor websites and blogs, ensuring that all articles, content and graphics are regularly updated and FSA compliant
- Editing Content
- Updating the article databases
- Creating new web pages in PHP and HTML
- Writing SEO based articles
- Maintaining Website Archives
- SEO administration and research
- Social networking research
- Creating graphics such as financial images and website mock-ups
- Reporting on competitor programs
Secondary Role Activities:
- Daily and monthly reporting on specific KPIs
- Creating new websites and blogs
- Manage CPC campaigns
- Testing user tracking, emails and websites
3) Ideal Candidate - Personal Attributes::
- A hands-on style with the ability to adapt to the day-to-day requirements of the business
- High level of self-confidence
- Ability to self motivate, work well under pressure and under tight deadlines
- Systematic, organised and accurate record keeper
- A knowledge and interest in financial trading and spread betting would be beneficial
4) Ideal Candidate - Experience::
- University educated
- Excellent grammar and numeracy
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Good working knowledge of the financial markets
- Work experience in a web-related job
- A high level of IT literacy
- Highly proficient with MS Office products
- HTML
- PHP
- Familiar with MYSQL databases
- Knowledge of graphics packages for creating .gif .jpg .ico and .bmp image formats
- Knowledge of Flash and XML would be a benefit
5) Terms
- Salary £15,000-£20,000
- London
A degree of flexibility with regards to working hours may be required.
Other relevant experience will also be considered.
