Editor's comment: We have now added the SelfTrade Markets prices for some of the most traded markets i.e. http://www.cleanfinancial.com/selftrade_markets.p… – note that these prices are for both their financial spread betting and CFD markets.

Editor's comment: And Selftrade Markets have chopped their spread on the Wall Street (Dow Jones) index.

They have cut the spread from 2 points to 1 point (during market hours). The Dow is a very popular market and looking at http://www.cleanfinancial.com/spreadbettingcompan… this cut brings Selftrade Markets into line with most of the spreads firms on our comparison page.

Editor's comment. Same platform as Capital Spreads, InterTrader, Financial Spreads, Tradefair, etc so normally for good reliability, spreads and user-friendly trading. (Although Tradefair are moving to the GFT platform).

Do you provide access to individual shares in U.S,Canadian Australian and London markets ?

Just to confirm, we are not 'Selftrade Markets', this is just a review.

In answer to your question, Selftrade Markets, like nearly all leading spread betting and CFD platforms, offer a broad selection of UK and US shares.

They also offer Australian shares but I think you need to subscribe to Australian shares in order to see the prices. The subscription is fee is around £20 per month. This seems high but I believe it's the Australian stock exchange who imposed the rather high pricing on the individual brokers.

Selftrade Markets don't offer Canadian shares, not many firms do. I might be wrong but of the leading firms, only IG – http://www.cleanfinancial.com/ig_index.php – currently offer a selection of individual Canadian shares.

Editor's comment: This is somewhat old news but, for the sake of our SelfTrade Markets review… SelfTrade Markets is no longer running.

There's no alarming news like Alpari, FXCM or World Spreads.

This just looks like rationalisation by SelfTrade and London Capital Group, i.e. the two parties that put SelfTrade Markets together.
