It’s been an eventful few days in the stock markets, forex and commodities markets. In the following video Jamie Cole and Toby Morris talk through:
- The stock market moves on Thursday and Friday – along with how the overall markets have reacted as well as retail investors (that’s smaller traders like you and me).
- The change in client sentiment – CMC clients are now more 50:50 long/short of the S&P 500 where as a few weeks ago CMC’s clients were 80 to 90% short.
- Nikkei 225 Index – up 80% for 2013 and, despite the recent fall, clients are 91% long of the Nikkei.
- Silver Futures – the market saw a 9% drop on Monday and it looks like ETFs and large investors are continuing to move out of precious metals.
- And finally – do the markets want to see poor numbers?
