Apparently…DMGT is on course to meet full year profit forecasts despite a difficult comparison with last summer, when the publisher was boosted by the advertising surrounding the London Olympics.

Sterling Still Bullish but GBP/USD Remains in the Long-Term Range



Whilst the Dow is trading in a range, it does seem to be drifting lower…

With the Iranian president on a charm offensive there could be improved relations between the West and the Middle East. If so, we could see crude oil prices continue to drop.

GBP/USD seems to be the forex pair in focus but we are some way away from $1.67 and $1.70. If anything we are still trading in the range of the last few years.

Royal Mail Grey Market Price Update



Following on from this morning’s ‘Order Books Open for Royal Mail’ update (see below), we thought we’d have a quick look at the grey market to see where people are actually trading it.

IG and ETX are both running books on the IPO:
  • IG spread: £2,960m – £3,060m
  • ETX Capital spread: £2,953m – £3,053m
So the grey market continues to rise.

The Twitter Valuation Continues to Rise



IG and ETX are both offering grey markets on the Twitter IPO:
  • IG spread: $17.45bn – $17.95bn
  • ETX Capital spread: $16.80bn – $17.80bn
That’s quiet a rise since 13 Sep when the ETX market was priced at $10.50bn – $11.50bn.
