  • Abbott Laboratories (US) was upgraded by Morgan Stanley with a price target up to 63.

  • Amazon (US) was upgraded by Barclays Capital with a price target up to 160.

  • Apache (US) was upgraded by Wells Fargo Securities, LLC.

  • Anadarko Petroleum (US) was upgraded by Barclays Capital with a price target up to 82.

  • Boeing (US) was upgraded by Barclays Capital with a price target up to 65.

  • Baker Hughes (US) was upgraded by Deutsche Bank with a price target up to 65.

  • Caterpillar (US) was upgraded by both JPMorgan and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC.

  • ConocoPhillips (US) was upgraded by Macquarie with a price target up to 62.

  • Johnson Controls (US) was upgraded by Wells Fargo Securities, LLC.

  • Massey Energy (US) was upgraded by Macquarie with a price target up to 40.

  • Oracle (US) was upgraded by both Wells Fargo Securities, LLC and Barclays Capital.

  • Qualcomm (US) was upgraded by lots of analysts – Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, Citi, Wells Fargo Securities, LLC and Barclays Capital.

  • Symantec (US) was upgraded by plenty of analysts – Credit Suisse, JPMorgan and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC.

  • United Technologies (US) was upgraded by Wells Fargo Securities, LLC.

  • Viacom (US) was upgraded by Barclays Capital with a price target up to 37.

  • Anglo American (UK) was upgraded by Nomura with a price target up to 3500.

  • Antofagasta (UK) was upgraded by both Raymond James and Nomura.

  • Eurasian Natural Resources Corp (UK) was upgraded by Nomura with a price target up to 1080.

  • Easyjet (UK) was upgraded by Commerzbank Corporates & Markets with a price target up to 500.

  • Lloyds Group (UK) was upgraded by Dolmen Stockbrokers with a price target up to 75.

  • Reckitt Benckiser (UK) was upgraded by Morgan Stanley with a price target up to 3700.

  • Rio Tinto (UK) was upgraded by Nomura with a price target up to 4300.

  • Tullow Oil (UK) was upgraded by both Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse.

  • Xstrata (UK) was upgraded by Nomura with a price target up to 1400.

  • Irish Life & Permanent (Ireland) was upgraded by Dolmen Stockbrokers with a price target up to 5.55.

  • Adidas (Germany) was upgraded by Nomura with a price target up to 45.

  • Deutsche Boerse (Germany) was upgraded by Commerzbank Corporates & Markets with a price target up to 71.

  • Deutsche Post (Germany) was upgraded by JPMorgan with a price target up to 17.1.

Broker Downgrades to a 'Sell' Rating

  • Boeing (US) was downgraded by Societe Generale with a price target reduced to 52.

  • Caterpillar (US) was downgraded by Morgan Stanley with a price target reduced to 51.

  • Citrix Systems (US) was downgraded by Morgan Stanley with a price target reduced to 40.

  • Marshall & Ilsley (US) was downgraded by Goldman Sachs with a price target reduced to 6.

  • Drax Group (UK) was downgraded by Credit Suisse with a price target reduced to 400.

  • Travis Perkins (UK) was downgraded by ING Wholesale Banking with a price target reduced to 682.

  • Wolseley (UK) was downgraded by ING Wholesale Banking with a price target reduced to 1094.

  • CRH (Ireland) was downgraded by ING Wholesale Banking with a price target reduced to 14.15.
