Therefore you can financial spread bet on Topps Tiles shares settling:

By the expiry date for this Futures market, 18-Mar-08.
With UK equities trading, you trade in £x per penny, where a penny is 1p of Topps Tiles share price movement. Eg if your stake was £20 per penny and the Topps Tiles shares move 6p then that would be a £120 difference to your profit and loss.
Topps Tiles Spread Betting Example
Let's say taking the above spread of 157.4p - 159.4p that, after your market research, you feel that the Topps Tiles shares looks like they will rise above 159.4p by 18-Mar-08.
Therefore you buy at 159.4p for a stake of, let's say, £10 per penny.
And so let's say that by the settlement date, the shares settle at 175p.
