Spread betting firm Spreadex has been shortlisted as a finalist to win a coveted national bookmakers award.
Spreadex, based in Grosvenor Road, St Albans, has been nominated alongside high street giant Ladbrokes and BG Bet for the title of the Betview ‘Online Betting Company of the Year’.
'innovative and easy-to-use online betting experience'
The winner will be announced at the Dorchester Hotel, London on March 3rd as the firm having created the most ‘innovative and easy-to-use online betting experience’.
Spreadex spokesman Andy MacKenzie said: “We are delighted to be nominated for the award and the fact that a name as well-respected as Ladbrokes is also in the running for the title highlights the nature of the achievement.
“Spreadex is one of only two firms in the UK to offer financial and sports spread betting from the same account.
“This makes us quite unique in the world of betting and is one of the reasons we have been shortlisted.
“It’s nice to know our website has impressed the judges, but we are already planning to undertake significant improvements to our site later this year which should enhance the service and experience for our customers even further.”
The Betview awards will be the first event of its kind to reward and recognise the UK betting and gaming industry for outstanding achievement, ingenuity and innovation.
