Paddypowertrader has been tracking the movements of its client base over the past week to reveal startling retail investment trends. Paddypowertrader has seen indices such as FTSE and Dow Jones jostle for position to become prime destinations for spread betting funds.
“With crude oil prices rising to over $120 dollars and softs heading skywards too, it is interesting that retail investors still prefer to trade equities and indices,” said Davin McAnaney of Paddypowertrader.

“The FTSE 100 remains the most popular trade by far among our clientele but also high on the list for the discerning spread traders is the Wall Street Index (Dow 30) and to a lesser extent the DAX 30.
“Our clients are very cosmopolitan when it comes to taking profits on international markets. Researching and informing yourself on market conditions through paddypowertraders blogs and weekly wraps seems to be amongst the most popular ways to increase profits in financial spread betting,” concluded McAnaney.
