And it’s good news for Forex traders as GFT have announced that they will now offer even more competitive prices, with spreads as low as one-pip wide.
From 5 May the company reduced spreads on many of their currency pairs. The spreads on the majors like EUR/USD, EUR/GBP, USD/JPY and EUR/CHF are now only one-pip wide. The new pricing applies to spread bets as well as spot forex and forex CFDs.
“Spreads have been reduced by more than half in some of the most popular pairs, and we are now able to quote the euro / pound as low as one pip wide” said Simon Mansell of GFT.
GFT will also retain a maximum spread cap for each currency pair that it offers. That will provide forex traders with not only lower, but also more consistent pricing.
“We already offer individual traders one of the widest choices of currencies, with more than 120 pairs available to trade as spot forex, and nearly as many available as CFDs and spread bets. Our new highly competitive pricing will help us to provide customers with some of the lowest pricing in the industry,” said Mansell.
