GFT have announced the addition of Kathy Lien and Boris Schlossberg to their currency research division.
As two of the forex market’s most respected analysts, they will serve as GFT’s new Directors of Research, boosting the company’s forex analysis and commentary with new ideas and techniques for trading, while also delivering new educational tools to the marketplace.
GFT President and CEO Gary L. Tilkin said that the addition of Lien and Schlossberg is a huge step forward for GFT, which is already one of the largest forex dealers in the world.
“Their credentials, reputation and integrity complement our core values and commitment to providing our customers with the highest level of service,” he said.
“I’ve had my eye on GFT for quite some time,” said Lien. “Their phenomenal growth over the last 10 years is a testament to the strength of the company and the people who work there. I’m very excited to join the team.”
Schlossberg echoed Lien’s comments, “In addition to the analysis and strategies we’ve been using for years, we’re getting ready to unveil some new techniques that may help forex traders enhance their trading strategies and identify more trading opportunities”.
OK. Fine. But What Does this Mean for Spread Bettors?
According to GFT, the new Directors of Research will be responsible for providing FX analysis to GFT’s global network of individual and institutional customers, as well as financial media outlets. Using a unique combination of technical and fundamental analysis they will show clients possible strategies and trading ideas.
If you take your FX spread betting seriously then you know this will only cement GFT’s position in the market. Like all of the leading spread betting companies they offer a complete range of currency pairs across the Majors. That range however, extends through the Minors to give a wide range of Exotics like HKD/JPY, ZAR/JPY, CHF/NOK that you do not find in many places.
And if you are just after the Majors then you’ll know they offer 1-3 point spreads on key markets like EUR / GBP.
