Here’s something that may be of interest but you will need to be quick.

Financial Spreads have two pairs of tickets to see England v New Zealand at Lord’s next week and there aren’t too many catches especially if you’re an existing client who’s placed a few bets**.


To be Eligible to Enter the Draw
  • You must have a Financial Spreads account (you still have time to open an account – see Option C below)
  • You must have placed any 5 spread bets on your Financial Spreads account (in the entire time you’ve had the account!)

Entering the Draw

To enter the prize draw email marketing@financialspreads.com:

  1. Which of these three players currently holds the record for the most Test Match Wickets?

    A) Andrew Flintoff
    B) Matthew Hoggard
    C) Ian Botham

  2. Your name and preferred contact phone number

  3. Which day would you prefer to see England play?

    A) England v New Zealand, Lord’s, Friday 16 May 2008
    B) England v New Zealand, Lord’s, Saturday 17 May 2008
    C) Either of the above

The Options

Option A) - You have a Financial Spreads account and you’ve have already placed at least 5 bets on that account – simply enter the draw by 11am on Monday (see above)

Option B) - You have a Financial Spreads account but have not yet placed 5 bets on that account
  • To be eligible for the draw, make sure you have placed 5 spread bets by 11am on Monday
  • Enter the draw by 11am on Monday (see above)
  • Please note that spread bets carry a high level of risk so you should only speculate with money you can afford to lose. You can lose more than your initial deposit and stake. Before you open an account, please ensure that spread betting matches your investment objectives, familiarise yourself with the risks involved and if necessary seek independent advice

Option C) - You don’t have a Financial Spreads Account
  • You will need to open an account with Financial Spreads.com. Account Terms and Conditions Apply. Accounts are subject to status
  • You will need to place 5 bets on that account by 11am on Monday
  • Enter the draw by 11am on Monday (see above)
  • Please note that spread bets carry a high level of risk so you should only speculate with money you can afford to lose. You can lose more than your initial deposit and stake. Before you open an account, please ensure that spread betting matches your investment objectives, familiarise yourself with the risks involved and if necessary seek independent advice


** England v New Zealand Tickets Financial Spreads Competition Rules:
  1. The prizes are:
    a. One pair of tickets to see England v New Zealand at Lord’s on Friday 16 May 2008
    b. One pair of tickets to see England v New Zealand at Lord’s on Saturday 17 May 2008
  2. To enter the prize draw email your answers to marketing@financialspreads.com
  3. All entries must be completed before the closing date, 11:00 Monday 12 May 2008
  4. The Prize Draw will take place at 13:00 Monday 12 May 2008
  5. Prize winners will be contacted within 1 day of the closing date
  6. All prizes must be claimed by 13:00 Tuesday 13 May 2008 or the prize will be forfeited and passed to another client
  7. Tickets will be sent to the winners by registered post
  8. To be eligible to enter the prize draw clients will need to have placed any five spread bets with Financial Spreads by the closing date
  9. The prize does not include transportation, accommodation, food or beverages which shall be the responsibility of the prize winner and their guest
  10. The prizes are non-transferable, non-negotiable, non-refundable and there are no cash alternatives. Your statutory rights remain unaffected
  11. If under Lord’s rules there are adverse weather conditions which allow a refund, the client may return both tickets to Financial Spreads who will then make a payment of the amount refunded by Lord’s to a charity of the client’s choice
  12. A maximum of one prize can be won by any one client
  13. Entry is limited to one entry per client
  14. Entry is limited to one entry per household
  15. The decision of the promoter will be final and no correspondence shall be entered into
  16. Financial Spreads will not be responsible for lost, late or misdirected entries, for incorrect or incomplete entry information, whether caused by a participant, equipment or technical malfunction or by any other human error
  17. Participants must be 18 years of age or over
  18. Where the age of majority in a country in which a participant resides is more than 18 years of age, a participant must have reached the age of majority
  19. Financial Spreads clients, employees and their agencies are not eligible to participate
  20. This draw is void in all countries and territories where spread betting is prohibited by law
  21. Participants outside the eligibility requirements may not participate and will not be eligible for prizes
