Financial Market Data - 25 January 2012
Market Summary
- FTSE 100 slid 0.5% to close at 5,751.9.
- FTSEurofirst 300 index declined 0.3% or 3.2 points to 1,045.0.
- DJIA edged down 0.3% to settle at 12,675.8. NASDAQ ticked up 0.1% to end at 2,786.6 S&P 500 fell 0.1% to finish at 1,314.7.
- Nikkei 225 index is trading 1.2% higher, at 8,888.1.
- In Asia, crude oil for March delivery is trading 0.2% or 24 cents higher at $99.19per barrel.
- At 0400 BST today, the GBP is trading 0.1% lower against the USD at $1.5617, marginally higher against the EUR at €1.1990, and 0.3% higher against the JPY at ¥121.74.
