Market Summary
- FTSE 100 edged up 0.4% to close at 5,965.6.
- FTSEurofirst 300 index advanced 0.4% to settle at 1,106.8.
- DJIA edged down 0.2% to end at 13,232.6. NASDAQ slipped marginally to close at 3,055.3. S&P 500 ticked up 0.1% to finish at 1,404.2.
- Nikkei 225 index is trading 0.3% higher at 10,160.0.
- In Asia, crude oil for April delivery is trading 0.2% or $0.26 higher at $107.32 per barrel.
- At 0400 BST today, the GBP is trading 0.1% higher against the USD at $1.5841, marginally higher against the EUR at €1.2024, and 0.2% higher against the JPY at ¥132.21.
