Market Summary
- FTSE 100 edged down 0.2% to close at 5,945.4.
- FTSEurofirst 300 index advanced 0.3% to 1,098.4.
- DJIA closed 0.1% higher to settle at 13,194.1. NASDAQ ended marginally higher to end at 3,040.7. S&P 500 closed 0.1% lower to settle at 1,394.3.
- Nikkei 225 index is trading 0.7% higher at 10,118.83.
- In Asia, crude oil for April delivery is trading 0.24% or $0.25 higher at $105.68 per barrel.
- At 0400 BST today, the GBP is trading marginally lower against the USD at $1.5648, 0.1% lower against the EUR at €1.2011, and 0.3% higher against the JPY at ¥131.65.
