- At 0500 BST today, German DAX Xetra 30 futures are trading 37.5 points down, while French CAC-40 futures are trading 5.0 points lower.
- At 0500 BST today, DJIA futures are trading 40.0 points lower.
- Nikkei 225 is trading 0.2% higher, at 15,663.0.
- In Asia, crude oil for July delivery is trading 0.7% or $0.70 lower at $93.58 per barrel.
- At 0400 BST today, the GBP is trading marginally lower against the USD at $1.5031, 0.1% down against the EUR at €1.1701, and 0.1% weaker against the JPY at ¥154.96.

Macro Economic Review
[05:00am update]
UK retail sales increased 0.5% YoY in April, lower than the expected increase of 2%, and compared to 0.5% fall recorded March.
UK's public sector net borrowing declined to £8.0 billion in April, compared to a revised £12.6 billion recorded in the prior month.
BoE's MPC meeting minutes revealed that the top policymakers remained split and voted 6-3 against more stimulus measures.
On a seasonally adjusted basis, Eurozone current account surplus almost doubled to €25.9 billion in March from €14.6 billion in February.
US existing home sales climbed 0.6% MoM to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 4.97 million in April from 4.94 million in March.
US Fed's minutes revealed that some policymakers favour scaling back $85 billion a month asset purchase program.
HSBC reported that China's PMI for the manufacturing sector fell to a seven-month low of 49.6 in May from 50.4 in April.
